Winter is stubbornly hanging on to this area of the province, but that doesn’t mean I can’t decide that it’s spring in my heart 🙂 I mean, why not? We are artists, after all. No matter the number of uncontrollable events life decides to throw our way,  we ultimately have the final say in our responses. With brush in hand, we are the masters of our own personal canvas. Not the other way around.

As I write this, the biggest storm of the winter is upon us. On days like this, summer seems so far away, and days at the beach are precious memories.
In this month’s painting packet, I’ve shared a personal memory with you 🙂 I have many good recollections of walking along the beach with my dog as a little girl. I hope you have as much fun painting this little treasure as I did putting it together!
